Hotel Guest Room Rate Information
Federated Group has a negotiated group rate with the Mirage Hotel of $189.00/night plus tax. Therefore, it is necessary that all reservations, changes and cancellations be made through the Federated Group Meeting and Event Planning Team. To register, please complete the online registration form before July 31, 2008.
Early arrivals and late departures may be requested at the time the registration form is submitted. For those of you extending your stay, the rate is $259.00 per night for November 7 and November 8, 2008.
Room cancellations received less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date will be subject to a one (1) night hotel charge plus tax.
Airport Transportation
Several companies offer shuttle service to and from McCarran International Airport (approximately $5.00 per person one-way). Signs are posted on the transportation level at the airport outside baggage claim which will direct you to the shuttle area. Return shuttles run from The Mirage to the airport from 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Reservations are recommended for airport returns after 6:00 p.m. The bell desk at the Mirage can assist you with the arrangements. Taxi service to the airport costs approximately $12 to $15 one-way.
In addition to complimentary valet service, the Mirage has plenty of secure free parking in their self-park garage at the north entrance of the hotel. They also offer oversize parking nearby for large vehicles and recreational vehicles.
Weather
The average temperature in Las Vegas for the month of November can range from 60 degrees to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Please note it is a good idea to bring a sweater or blazer to the events since the cooling systems in the hotel may cause it to be cool.
Dress Code
The dress code for all meetings and events is business casual.
