Hotel Guest Room Rate Information
Federated Group has a negotiated group rate with the Peabody Memphis of $195/night plus 15.95% tax for the nights of November 3 & 4, 2010. It is necessary that all reservations, changes and cancellations be made through the Federated Group Meeting and Event Planning Team. To register, please complete the online registration form before Friday, September 10, 2010. Early arrivals and late departures may be requested at the group rate at the time the registration form is submitted and is based upon availability.
Cancellation less than 30 days of your scheduled arrival will result in two (2) nights' room and tax, and will be the responsibility of the attendee. Early departure prior to your scheduled check-out date will result in penalty charges and will be the responsibility of the attendee.
Airport Transportation
Taxi: The Peabody Memphis is just a quick 15-minute ride from the Memphis International Airport. Taxis are available outside terminal B baggage claim at the ground level. The approximate fare is $35 one-way.
Shuttle: A downtown hotel shuttle is available through TennCo Express Airport Shuttle and can be arranged through the hotel Concierge or by calling 901-522-0001. You can also make your reservation online at www.tenncoexpress.com. The downtown shuttle picks up guests at the Union Avenue entrance of The Peabody on an hourly basis. The shuttle costs $16 one-way and $26 round-trip.
Parking
Parking rate for registered guests is $16.00 per day and $21.00 for valet service.
Smoking Policy
The Peabody is a smoke-free hotel. This includes all guest rooms and public areas.
Weather
The average temperature in Memphis for the month of October can range from a high of 75 degrees to a low of 52 degrees Fahrenheit. Please bring a sweater for blazer to the events as room temperatures tend to fluctuate.
Dress Code
The dress code for all meetings and events is business casual.
